Nominations: any official can nominate another official for this honor. Nominations may be submitted to a board member at any time. The Board members are listed here.

Qualifications: Nominee …

  1. Must have officiated at least twelve (12) years at Texas A&M hosted Outdoor/Indoor Track & Field competitions (Meets at other locations, whether local, national or international levels, are not considered).
  2. Be recognized and respected by his/her peers for superior officiating skills.
  3. Preference is given to those with experience in multiple events or responsibilities at local, regional (NCAA), conference (Southwest Conference, Big 12, Southeast Conference), and national (NCAA & AIAW) level competitions at Texas A&M.
  4. Preference is given to those displaying leadership responsibilities and qualities officiating at a minimum of one national-level meet as a head official, coordinator, or administrator at Texas A&M.
    * USA Track & Field membership and/or certification is recognized but not required.

Review & Selection Committee: Voting will be conducted by
      a) the current Board of Directors (BOD)
      b) previous Hall of Fame inductees (optional) and
      c) two active TAMTFOA members (approved and selected by the BOD).

Voting will be conducted at a BOD meeting. Any voting members unable to attend will be allowed to submit their votes by email to the BOD. The number of annual inductees may vary; with no more than four (4) selected by a majority vote.
